Redesign
The Crab Shack is a local seafood restaurant located in St. Petersburg Florida. Going to the restaurant in person, it has a rustic and kitschy look and feel to it with seafood oriented decorations on the outside and inside of the shack. They are also located next to the bay where they catch all their seafood fresh to be served to their customers.
I took these aspects of the shack and simplified in the logo where it looks like the crab was a stamp put onto a box of fresh crabs with "Crab Shack" painted on with a large uneven paint brush. This gives a rustic beach-front brand feel to it. Through this I wanted to show that the crab shack is not a fancy establishment but it a great local establishment with fresh seafood.
For the website I used a lot of beach and seafood imagery to make it playful but clearly show to viewer what the restaurant has to offer.
